I have lived in Wisconsin all my life. Despite what many people outside of the Midwest seem to think, there's a lot more to this state than cows and cheese... although there really are lots of cows and cheese, too. So, I made a map of the Wisconsin I have experienced during my 23 years. Since I grew up in the Milwaukee suburbs, I oriented the map such that Milwaukee is at the forefront of the view out over the state. This makes it both symbolic of where I grew up and the fact that I am more familiar with this area than other parts of the state. Overall, this intended to be a lighthearted picture of one Wisconsin girl's impression of her home state.
